These beef middles are ideal to ring bologna, ring liver sausage, blood sausage, knockwurst, mettwurst, kiszka, Polish sausage and holstiener. All the castings have 85 lbs purified salt and stuffed meat. Flush these castings before use. Not edible. Proper storage ensures longevity of these salted castings and when refrigerated and packed in purified salt they become highly durable. When unrefrigerated, they produce a very intense odor, though they are not spoiled. To reduce the intensity of odor, put these rings back into the refrigerator.
