We have had our Fissler for about a month now, and I LOVE it. Everything works as promised. My first effort I cooked an entire chicken in 12 minutes. I'm back to loving artichokes. Risotto is as delicious as if ordered in a fine Milanese restaurant. Why was I fearful?

I've never owned a pressure cooker before, but decided to invest in one. I have 3 teenage boys and limited time to cook. I purchased this set after it was recommended by Cooks Illustrated (BTW, I also recommend purchasing their cookbook Pressure Perfect). Harvest Essentials had the best price and the shipping was very fast!
I have loved cooking everything from beans to short ribs to pulled pork - all within one hour including prep. Risotto was perfect in 12 minutes!! I have used the Fissler cookbook guidelines too, and recommend reviewing the instruction manual and troubleshooting guide that's included along with the cookbook.
This set also comes with a smaller sauce pan which is perfect for many other smaller quantity items. It even has a glass lid if you want to use it more conventionally.

Excellent quality. Couldn't be happier. I use the Fissler pressure cooker several times a week for our meals as well as for our two dog's food, which consists of a whole chicken cooked two hours until the bones are soft and can be mashed into the food, then cook the rice and veggies in the broth and mix. The dogs love it!
