These professional choice casings are used in making polish sausage, summer sausage, ring bologna or liverwurst and dried cured pepperoni. These edible casings can make about 140 lbs of sausage, 1 lb of meat when stuffed about 1½ feet of casings. Pack these casings in purified salt and store them on refrigerator for longevity and careful flush them in cold water prior using. Salted casings ensure long life when stored properly. When unrefrigerated, they produce a very intense odor, though they are not spoiled. To reduce the intensity of odor, put these rings back into the refrigerator.
